The Speakeasy
Hidden beneath the house, The Speakeasy offers a glimpse into a past shaped by secrecy, resilience, and quiet rebellion. Once a concealed gathering place, this space now invites visitors to experience the atmosphere of Chicago’s Prohibition era.

Restoration Discoveries
Discovered during the restoration of Capstone, the room revealed traces of its former life—bottles tucked into walls, worn surfaces, and subtle architectural details designed to keep it hidden from view. What was once a place of whispered conversations and guarded entrances has been carefully preserved to reflect both its history and its mystery.

Today, The Speakeasy serves as both a preserved space and a living experience—one that invites visitors to step into the past, if only for a moment, and imagine what it meant to gather here when the doors were meant to remain closed.
