Venue & Private Events
The Capstone Museum offers a distinctive setting for private events, combining historic atmosphere with thoughtfully restored spaces. Whether hosting an intimate gathering or a small lecture, the museum provides a unique backdrop unlike any traditional venue.
The Speakeasy

Hidden within the lower level of the mansion, the restored Prohibition-era speakeasy offers a warm, intimate setting ideal for private events.
The space features original architectural elements, moody lighting, and a sense of discovery that makes every gathering feel exclusive.
The speakeasy is best suited for:
- Small private events
- Cocktail-style gatherings
- Special celebrations
Access to the speakeasy is limited and available by request.
The Study

For a quieter and more focused experience, the museum’s study offers a refined setting for small lectures, readings, or discussions.
This space is particularly well suited for:
- Authors and guest speakers
- Academic discussions
- Small group presentations
The study maintains the character of the original home while providing a comfortable and intimate environment for conversation and learning.
